Today marks my 14th day in Melbourne...it's been a fun working holiday so far. Can't wait to go home next Monday, though. Feeling rather lonely now.
What have I been doing here? :
1/ Successful networking with the local business community. Very pleased with myself. And I'm sure my biz partners are too :)
2/ Finally I got to watch a few matches at the Australian Open...absolutely amazing!! Thanks to Jenny! I am still a big fan of Martina Hingis and she did tremendously well to reach the quarter finals. And that beautiful smile of hers were a common fixture. Welcome back Martina! And I have to say that Tommy Haas is so damn gorgeous up close! Yummy! And of course the fairytale story of the tournament is that of Marcos Baghdatis....a very talented and nice guy. Too bad he didn't win the final. Will defintely be following his games from now on. The ladies finals was rather dissappointing with the retirement of Justin in the 2nd set. Wonder why she withdrew? Anyway, great times at the tournament. Shall I go to Paris for the French Open? Tempting...
3/ Broke 2 ribs while playing rugby here 4 days ago. And I didn't realise it till I got back to my hotel room. Very uncomfortable! Can I still run with broken ribs? And swim? Hmmm...
4/ Spent my CNY here with a few friends and 2 cousins...lots of parties! Met new friends..have to say most are hunks!! And they have great intelligence to boot too. Wow!!! Oh, abang called today to tell me about the great news..kakak is expecting twins! Yay!! Her due date is around my birthday. Wouldn't it be great if the babies share the same bday as their uncle? Hehehe!
5/ Sightseeing!!! And shopping :)
